The Cognex Corporation has bestowed the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired with a $10,000 grant to continue to offer high-quality vision rehabilitation services in the Natick, MA, area.

“This generous grant from Cognex will be crucial in allowing us to continue to offer comprehensive vision rehabilitation services to individuals in the Natick area,” says Shaun Kinsella, Statewide Director for MABVI. “Cognex is a Natick institution, and it’s great to see how much they care about giving back to the community and ensuring that its visually impaired population remains healthy and happy well into their golden years.”

This grant will go towards supporting much-needed vision rehabilitation services for those with vision loss in and around Natick. These services include a Low Vision Peer Support Group, one-on-one volunteer services, in-home occupational therapy, and specialized low vision examinations.
